Three Cats Named Parade All-America; Cal on Summer Plans

Three incoming UK recruits have been named Parade All-Americans and John Calipari details what's ahead for his players this summer.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky class of 2012 signees Archie Goodwin, Nerlens Noel and Alex Poythress have been named Parade All-Americans. John Calipari posted a letter to his players on his website, CoachCal.com, today. It details what he expects and some summer plans for the team.

Calipari says the goal is to be the best team in the country by March. He lists different qualities each player will need to exhibit in order to reach that goal.

Calipari also goes over the summer workout plan for his team.

According to Calipari, each player receives the same letter.

With the addition to Goodwin, Noel and Poythress ... Kentucky has now signed a total of 76 Parade All-Americans over the years.

Goodwin (Sherwood, Ark., Sylvan Hills HS) was named Arkansas’ Mr. Basketball as well as the state's Gatorade Player of the Year and a McDonald's All-American.

Noel (Everett, Mass, Tilton School) was named the USA Today National Player of the Year.

Like Goodwin, Poythress (Clarksville, Tenn., Northeast HS) won Mr. Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year in his state to go along with McDonald's All-America honors.
