John Calipari says Maryland will especially challenge Kentucky's post defense in its season opener Friday night.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky's young post players will find out exactly where they are in this stage of their development when the Wildcats tip off the season against Maryland Friday night at Brooklyn's Barclay's Center.

John Calipari said the Terrapins use multiple screens to establish position in the paint, and he expects Maryland to repeatedly attack UK inside.

Freshmen Nerlens Noel, Willie Cauley-Stein and sophomore Kyle Wiltjer will get tested, the Kentucky coach said.
