Marquis Teague had a shaky debut with the Bulls while Terrence Jones had another impressive outing for the Rockets in NBA summer league action.
LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Former Wildcat Marquis Teague struggled in his Chicago Bulls summer league debut while fellow former Wildcat Terrence Jones had his best game of four straight solid performances on Tuesday.
Teague took a team-high 17 shots, only connecting on four of those and committed six turnovers to just one assist in loss to the Celtics.
Jones led Houston with 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in a win over his hometown Portland Trailblazers. Jones hit 11 of 20 shots.
Jones is now averaging 18.5 points per game through four summer league contests. His scoring outputs have been 16, 17, 17 and 24 points.
