Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague's improved play has been key for Cats lately.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - One national writer recently said Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague would be the team's undoing, predicting a Teague would cost the Cats somewhere along the way. The comment came following a solid effort by Teague in a win over then No. 8 Florida.
Over the last two games, Teague has 18 assists to six turnovers and has hit on 10 of his 18 shot attempts. Those statistics suggest Teague's decision making has improved. And it was Teague who had the ball in his hands when every possession counted against the Commodores Saturday in UK's 69-63 win at Vanderbilt.
