Mounting injuries, especially at receiver, have crippled the football Cats this spring in practice.

High performance coach Erik Korem has his work cut out for him, nursing these walking wounded back to health before the season starts this fall.

But how did it all happen anyway?

The program is supposed to maximize guys time on the field and keep them there.  Sure injuries will always happen...it's football.

But as it turns out, the envelope may have been pushed a little harder than it should've been, or at least...a little harder than was advised...by head coach Mark Stoops.
