LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops dismissed cornerbacks Marcus Caffey and Jonathan Reed for a violation of team rules on Wednesday, according to a UK spokesman.
Caffey was ruled academically ineligible to play this past season, then was among three UK players cited for marijuana possession in September.
Reed was a top 50 cornerback coming out of high school in Indianapolis and redshirted as a freshman last year.
