Mark Stoops made big-name hire after big-name hire.

So far, three former Wildcats are on staff.  All on the offense.  Neal Brown, the Boyle County product and UMass grad, returns as offensive coordinator and QB's coach.

Joining Brown are Chad Scott, the former UK running back, and offensive line position man John Schlarman.

Bringing back some UK guys was something Stoops really wanted to do if the fit was right.

Speaking of Neal Brown, he's happy to have some familiar faces and guys familiar with the program coming back to be a part of his staff.

The big swinging point on getting them to Lexington?

Mark Stoops being exposed to the Air Raid offense when Mike Leach was hired by brother Bob Stoops...making Mark's decision easier to bring in Scott and Schlarman.

Hear from both Stoops and Brown in the attached video on the impact some homegrown coaching staff members can make at Kentucky.
