Reed Named SEC Male Athlete of the Year

Former Bat Cat also belts first professional home run Monday night.
The Southeastern Conference athletic directors voted Kentucky's A.J. Reed the SEC male athlete of the year today.

Reed of course raked in numerous conference and national honors for his two-way prowess on the diamond this season...and just last night belted his first professional home run with short season Tri-City in a 1-for-5 day at the plate.

Congrats to Reed on yet another big honor and good looking moving forward with the Houston Astros organization.
