Junior Kentucky Wildcat A.J. Reed is a two-way star for the Bat Cats.

He's also one of three finalists for the annual golden spikes award, given to the best player in all of college baseball.

Reed's also projected to be a consensus top 40 pick in the MLB draft that starts tomorrow night on the MLB Network.

He'll certainly be missed in Lexington, but not just for his production on the field.

Just ask head coach Gary Henderson what he thinks about his stud pitcher / first baseman and you can tell Reed means a lot...to a lot of people.

Catch Henderson's thoughts in the video.
