Nerlens Noel was introduced today by the Philadelphia 76ers with one key point sticking out among the usual pleasantries.
The former Kentucky Wildcat who tore his ACL will take his time in returning to the floor. The most important part of his rehab isn't necessarily that he is cleared to play. That may sound strange considering that's the exact reason Philly drafted Noel with the 6th overall pick in late June...to help contribute to the Sixers as soon as possible.
But general manager and president of basketball operations Sam Hinkie has a different focus which he thinks will help the team in a more efficient way.
