Chicago native and former Cat Nazr Mohammed announced via Twitter his intention to re-sign with the Bulls today.

Mohammed averaged 2.6 points and 3 rebounds a game primarily as Joakim Noah's backup in regular season play.

If the former Cat does indeed take the floor next year, he'll take over Dan Issel's spot as the longest tenured ex-Cat in the pros.

Congrats and good luck to Nazr.
