Kentucky defensive coordinator says he feels responsible for helping Louisville discover its starting quarterback a little early.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky defensive coordinator Rick Minter said he "absolutely" feels responsible for Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's stardom, at least its birth.

Minter said by knocking out Cardinals starter Will Stein in last season's UK - U of L game, they forced a true freshman - Bridgewater - into action maybe sooner than Louisville would've liked and "a star was born."
