The New Orleans Pelicans opted not to keep Darius Miller today, that means he'll become a free agent tomorrow morning.

The Pelicans could've extended over a million bucks to the former Mason County and UK star to make him a restricted free agent, but that didn't happen.

Fellow former Cat Doron Lamb was waived by the Orlando Magic today.

The 22-year-old combo guard was going to get his entire 2014-15 season salary of nearly a $1 million on Wednesday if the Magic didn't cut him loose.

Lamb averaged 3.6 points per game, one assist and one rebound per night.

We'll update you on both guys when, or if, they land with new teams right here on ABC 36 News and WTVQ.com.

Just as a note, the NBA Summer League starts up next week.  Teams will be looking to fill out rosters in the coming days for that, which bodes well for Miller and Lamb.
