Morehead State Eagles senior volleyball standout Ellie Roberson was recently named the Ohio Valley Conference female athlete of the year.

Roberson will receive the award in Nashville on Friday.

The Louisville native is the first MSU athlete to earn the honor since Priscilla Blackford back in the 1982-83 season.

It's the top award after being named OVC player of the year and All-OVC
during her final season at Morehead State...

And as any good team player would do...Roberson can't thank her fellow Eagles enough for helping her achieve such a high honor.

More in the video.
