The basketball Cats will be minus two players now during the trip to the Bahamas in August.

Freshman forward Trey Lyles has a leg injury that requires surgery.  That news coming out today via the UK men's basketball Twitter account.

Of course junior Willie Cauley-Stein is still nursing back to health following an ankle injury a few months back.

The good news for Solid Blue fans...that means more playing time for Dakari Johnson, Karl Towns and Marcus Lee, not to mention Alex Poythress as well.

Even better news, Coach Cal says keeping the two guys out is strictly precautionary and they could play if they really wanted to...but why risk it?
