Lexington Catholic beat Lafayette 68-64 Thursday night, while the Lafayette girls beat the Lady Knights and Scott County girls beat Henry Clay.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Lexington Catholic got 24 points from Tanner Johnson in a 68-64 win over visiting Lafayette Thursday night.

The Knights led 27-24 at halftime and then used a 17-9 third quarter to build a 44-33 lead.

The pace quickened in the final frame and the Generals came back - outscoring LexCath 31-24 in the last eight minutes - but a Dillon Avare three and a pair of Michael Talbot free throws in the final minute sealed it for the Knights.
