UK head football coach Joker Phillips says the recent departure of three players opens up scholarships for walk-ons.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky head football coach Joker Phillips on Wednesday addressed the attrition his team has endured recently. UK linebackers Justin Henderson and Tim Patterson have left the team, while defensive tackle Nermin Delic was dismissed for a violation of team rules. Phillips says it frees up scholarships for walk-ons like running back CoShik Williams, safety Mikie Benton and kicker Craig McIntosh.
