Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips said that when it comes to the Louisville game, anything can happen.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Kentucky head football coach Joker Phillips spoke on Wednesday at the Jefferson County UK Alumni luncheon in downtown Louisville.

The Cats' coach was asked about being a 14-point underdog to the Cardinals in the two teams' season-opening game on Sept. 2.

Phillips said that a friend told him that he really liked 14. Phillips said he thought his friend was referring to one of his players who wears number 14 - freshman quarterback Patrick Towles. His friend was talking about UK getting 14 points against Louisville.

Phillips went on to say that you can throw that stuff out when it comes to the battled for Governor's Cup, and that when Kentucky and Louisville play, anything can happen.
