Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips announced former Wildcat Jeremy Jarmon has joined the staff and running back Josh Clemons will be limited in fall camp.
HOOVER, Al. - Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips announced during SEC media days on Wednesday that former UK defensive end Jeremy Jarmon has been hired as the team's assistant director of football operations.
Jarmon announced his retirement from the NFL last week. He replaces former Cats receiver Tommy Cook, for whom the position was created this past May. This week Cook was hired as Kent State's director of football operations.
Phillips also said on Wednesday that running back Josh Clemons won't fully participate in fall camp. Instead, Clemons will be limited to two practices per week as a precaution.
Clemons suffered a season-ending knee injury last season and Phillips said that he wants to be sure Clemons has fully recovered by the time the season kicks off.
