Former football Cats John Conner and DeQuin Evans are hoping to stick in Cincinnati this season.

Right now both guys are looking good in camp and are focused on contributing as soon as possible to the Bengals organization in 2013.

For Conner, it's about looking at the team as a whole while Evans tries to hone and tighten up his competitive edge to help make himself and others around him better.

More in the video from both guys.

Thanks for the note Jeremy! Re-watched it myself and it's actually not read fast at all. It's the average read rate by AP ENPS for most anchors. How much time do you feel it should've taken? Roughly 36 seconds for a VOSOT in the business is above average for 3 sentences into sound.

I would have enjoyed the reporting on this story if the reporter hadn't raced through the time slot. I've heard of speed reading, but this speed speaking stuff has got to stop. The sports report is terrible to watch when you actually feel like you are being rushed by the newscaster. Do you guys have a stop watch up or something and say "fit 18 minutes of coverage into this next three minutes." Sheesh - I had to take anxiety medicine...
