TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Fans of Florida State hoops can now purchase their season tickets for the 2012-13 women’s basketball season.

Season tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for youth and seniors. For the second year in a row, FSU will offer a “Family Pack” for women’s hoops season tickets which includes two adults and two youth tickets for $99. Additional youth tickets can be added $15 each.

In addition to nine Atlantic Coast Conference games, fans will be treated to marquee matchups against rival Florida on Nov. 15 and Iowa on Nov. 28 as part of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, as well as at least four other non-conference matchups in November and December at the Donald L. Tucker Center. Both the Hawkeyes and Gators will be tough early season tests for the Noles, as both teams competed in the NCAA Tournament last season.

“We are excited to announce our season tickets going on sale,” head coach Sue Semrau said. “We have a great home schedule with some challenging non-conference opponents that will provide some great tests for our Seminole squad before the always tough matchups within the ACC. Fans can continue to expect exciting play and lots of hustle with players like Natasha Howard and Alexa Deluzio leading the way this season.

“The fans have always been a big part of our success, and we look forward to seeing lots of garnet and gold at the Donald L. Tucker Center during another great season.”

FSU returns 11 of 12 contributors from last season’s squad, including fifth-year seniors Chasity Clayton and Deluzio as well as Howard, an All-ACC pick last season. Behind that core, as well as seniors Chelsea Davis, Leonor Rodriguez and Morgan Toles, the Seminoles will look to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time in nine seasons under Semrau, who enters her 16th year with the Noles.
