RICHMOND, Ky. – Having already played road games at North Carolina State and Virginia Commonwealth, the Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team faces its toughest test on Saturday at fourth ranked Wisconsin.

Tipoff is scheduled for 1:02 p.m. ET at the Kohl Center, where Wisconsin is 96-7 in home non-conference games under head coach Bo Ryan.

The game will air live on ESPN3, where available.  The live radio broadcast of the game is available in the Richmond area on WCYO 100.7 FM, and can be heard worldwide on EKUSports.com.

The Colonels (7-3) had double digit leads at North Carolina State and VCU, but couldn’t hold off second half rallies by both teams.  Eastern rebounded by earning a 76-67 win at Longwood on Saturday.  EKU took advantage of 22 turnovers and two extended scoring droughts by the Lancers.  Glenn Cosey led EKU with 24 points, hitting 6-of-12 from behind the arc.  Orlando Williams added 20 points, making 6-of-10 from the field, 4-of-8 from deep and 4-of-5 from the stripe.  He also had four rebounds and three assists.

Wisconsin improved to 11-0 after beating Milwaukee, 78-52, on Wednesday.  The Badgers have also beaten then 11th ranked Florida, West Virginia and Marquette.  Ben Brust had a game-best 18 points against Milwaukee.  Frank Kaminsky finished with 16 points.  Sam Dekker added 12 points and a game-high eight rebounds.

The Badgers shot 51 percent from the field.  After hitting on 9-of-13 three-point attempts on its way to building a 20-point halftime lead, Wisconsin made just 1-of-13 from behind the arc in the second half.

Cosey leads Eastern Kentucky, and ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference, with an average of 19.3 points per game.  The senior guard is fourth in the league with 4.9 assists per contest.  Three other Colonels average between 11 and 12.2 points per game.  Corey Walden (4.8 rpg) leads the squad in rebounding while Cosey (4.2 rpg) and Eric Stutz (4.2 rpg) are close behind.

Kaminsky, a 6-foot-11 junior forward, leads Wisconsin in scoring (14.7 ppg) and is second in rebounding (5.7 rpg).  Sam Dekker, a 6-foot-7 sophomore forward, leads the team in rebounding (6.1 rpg) and is second in scoring (14.2 ppg).  Last season, Kaminsky averaged just four points and two rebounds while playing 10 minutes per game.

EKU has the second best turnover margin in the country (+7.7), but Wisconsin ranks second in the nation with only 8.9 turnovers per game.  Eastern has allowed its two most recent opponents to hit 22 three-pointers and shoot 47 percent from deep.  Wisconsin has made 39 percent of its three-pointers this season, 41st best in the nation.
