Pretty cool moment tonight at the Beck Center as Transylvania honored former head coach Don lane.

At halftime of the Centre game, Lane was presented with a miniature design of the newly named Don Lane court.

Lane won 509 games while heading the Pioneers from 1975-2001. He was the Transy athletics director from '75 to 1996.  Lane is also a member of the Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame and NAIA Hall of Fame to name a few other honors.

His son Brian now heads up the Pios.

But maybe the best part of the court naming, it was a pretty well-kept secret until the unveiling.

Hear from Don Lane in the video on the honor as he also plans to retire as a professor at Transy.

Highlights of Centre's 84-75 win over Transy in the video as well.
