Anthony Davis says he intends on making US Olympic team roster despite being limited by a sprained ankle.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Anthony Davis was about 75% during Team USA practice Friday in Las Vegas, according to US coach Mike Krzyzewski, the Louisville Courier-Journal reported.

Davis is among 15 players trying to make the 12-man US Olympic team roster but has been limited by a sprained ankle he suffered last Saturday.

USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo said they are trying to project what condition Davis and his ankle will be in two weeks from now in determining whether or not to add Davis to the roster, according to the Courier-Journal.

The newspaper also reported that Davis said he plans on making the team and is doing everything he can to make that happen but still can't run up and down the court right now.

A reporter from the New York Daily News tweeted that Davis was the target of some rookie hazing from the Knicks Carmelo Anthony. Melo reportedly yelled "Hey Rook" at Davis and wanted the league's top overall draft pick to carry his bag.
