Cousins Confronts Colangelo

Former Kentucky Wildcat DeMarcus Cousins asked USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo why he called Cousins immature.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Former Kentucky Wildcat DeMarcus Cousins said he was offended by USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo's comment that Cousins is immature.

The Sacramento Kings forward is a member of the USA Select Team, which has been scrimmaging against Team USA during camp in Las Vegas.

Colangelo recently called Cousins immature. Cousins said he went to Colangelo and asked him why he would make that comment.

Cousins said he didn't really get an answer, but said Colangelo told him it was just an opinion.

Cousins said that he has just been trying to play hard to prove he's worthy of consideration for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team. He said that's what he told Colangelo.
