Kentucky receivers Daryl Collins and LaRod King have a friendly competition this season for most receptions and touchdowns.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky senior LaRod King said he challenged redshirt freshman Daryl Collins to make more catches and score more touchdowns than him this season.
King was UK's leading receiver last season and kicked off this season with eight receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown against Louisville.
Collins was not too far behind, finishing the game with seven catches for 64 yards.
That was good enough to get Collins into the starting line up. UK's depth chart for Saturday's Kent State game lists Collins as a starter.
