Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips said on Wednesday that running back Josh Clemons is doubtful to play against Louisville.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Kentucky sophomore running back Josh Clemons is doubtful to ready to go for the season opener against Louisville on Sept. 2, head coach Joker Phillips announced on Wednesday.
Phillips was in Louisville on Wednesday speaking at the Jefferson County UK Alumni luncheon.
On Tuesday, Phillips said that Clemons had a knee scope that revealed some loose stuff that needed to be cleaned up.
During this fall camp, Clemons has struggled with swelling in the knee that he had surgically repaired last year.
