Kentucky coach John Calipari says freshman Willie Cauley-Stein is better than he thought.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Willie Cauley-Stein is hardly the headline recruit among defending national champion Kentucky's crop of freshman.

Nerlens Noel, Alex Poythress and Archie Goodwin are the guys with the highest marks from the recruiting services and played in all the big all-star games.

John Calipari, however, has been so impressed with what he's seen of Cauley-Stein so far that he's considering playing the 6-10 center alongside fellow big man Noel in the front court at the same time.

That's what Calipari told ESPN's Andy Katz.

Calipari said to Katz that he's "stunned at how good (Cauley-Stein) is" and that he's "so skilled, real skilled."
