Kentucky coach John Calipari says it may take his team suffering a bad loss before his players start playing the way he expects.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky has yet to get what coach John Calipari calls "knocked." Sure the Cats lost at Indiana, but Calipari says that you're not going to convince the guys in his locker room that they got "knocked" in Bloomington. They'd say that was a lucky shot, according to Calipari, and Ohio State's loss at Indiana validates that even more for his players.
Calipari is aggravated that his team has not "taken that leap" to the next level. He believes it may take a bad loss to get his players' attention.
