Kentucky head coach Joker Phillips said that the quarterback competition probably won't be settled for another two Saturdays.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky head football coach Joker Phillips said following practice Monday that it's still too soon to tell much about the four quarterbacks competing for the starting job.

Phillips said that the team is still in the installation phase, and will be leading up to Saturday's first scrimmage. Phillips said it's probably too soon to name a starter following that first scrimmage.

The Cats' coach said that he'd like to settle on a starting QB after the second scrimmage on August 18th.
