Kentucky's offensive linemen say they are up to the challenge against No. 6 South Carolina, which has one of the best defensive fronts in the country.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - South Carolina's defense is tied for the fifth-most sacks in the country and is ranked eighth best against the run.

The Gamecocks' formidable front includes a pair of All-America candidates at defensive end, Jedaveon Clowney and Devin Taylor. Clowney leads the team with 4.5 sacks this season, while Taylor has 15.5 sacks over his career.

When the 6'8" Taylor or 6'6" Clowney is not in at defensive end, 6'5" Chaz Sutton is. Sutton is second on the team in sacks this season with three.

Carolina produces pressure up the middle as well with tackles Kelcy Quarles (two sacks) and Byron Jerideau, who bench presses 500 pounds and squats 670 pounds.

However, Kentucky's offensive linemen don't feel overmatched.

Sophomore left tackle Darrian Miller says a lot of what USC's D-linemen do can be disarmed by proper technique.

UK's O-line gained confidence against Florida last week by having some success in the running game and not surrendering a single sack.
