Kentucky coach John Calipari tweeted an apology to recruits on Tuesday, which appeared to be more of a message about his ability to get players to the NBA.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky coach John Calipari sent out a tweet on Tuesday apologizing to recruits for not being more attentive to them this week because he's been too busy fielding questions from NBA teams about his six players about to be drafted.

Here's the tweet: "I want to apologize to all the recruits this week. I'm spending the majority of my time answering questions from NBA teams about my six guys."

It's common knowledge among recruiting analysts that primary in Calipari's pitch to prospects is his track record of getting players to the NBA quickly.

Kentucky anticipates six players be selected in Thursday's NBA draft. Anthony Davis is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is projected to go within the top five. Terrence Jones and Marquis Teague are both likely first-round selections, according to most mock drafts. Doron Lamb and Darius Miller are also expected to be drafted in either the late first round or early to middle of the second round.
