UK coach John Calipari tweets what appears to be a response to the recent NY Times report and Lexington Herald-Leader cartoon.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - This week, Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari has seen some potentially negative news reported by the New York Times as well as a Lexington Herald-Leader cartoon slight him. He appeared to respond by tweeting an analogy, which seems to trivialize the Times report and editorial cartoon.
Calipari tweeted on Thursday, "While sitting here, this thought came to mind. 'If the mailman reacted to every barking dog, he would never get the mail delivered.'"
On Monday, the Lexington Herald-Leader ran an editorial cartoon by Joel Pett that took a shot at Calipari and the decision to discontinue Kentucky's longstanding annual series with Indiana.
On Tuesday, the New York Times published an article saying the NCAA is investigating UK signee Nerlens Noel.
