LEXINGTON, Ky. - John Calipari previously said unless his No. 1 ranked Kentucky team learned how to handle physical play, the Cats would just be a good team, not great. The issue seems to be resolved since Kentucky has been great lately.

UK earned a hard-fought victory at Vanderbilt in which the Cats built a 14-point lead, lost it, trailed late, then went on an 8-0 run to beat the Commodores and improve to 11-0 in SEC play. That was preceded by four straight blowout wins of 20 points or more, including a 78-58 victory over then No. 8 Florida.

When asked if his team had put to rest the worries of what could keep the Cats from achieving their goals in March, John Calipari said that he is happy with the way UK is playing right now, but he's just not satisfied.
