LEXINGTON, Ky. - "We're Kentucky. How 'bout we don't play you? How 'bout that?" said John Calipari when talking about the Kentucky - Indiana basketball series, which has been played every year since 1970.

Indiana athletic director Fred Glass pretty much said Thursday that he's done compromising with Kentucky.

Calipari is fine with that. The way he sees it, a "non-traditional" program like Kentucky dictates its own terms when it comes to scheduling.

Right now, Kentucky's terms are limiting contracts with opponents to no more than two years.

If that does not work for the opponent, in this case Indiana, then so be it, says Calipari.

Indiana's most recent proposal called for a four-year deal.
