John Calipari says part of NBA commissioner David Stern's legacy could be striking a deal with the NCAA to encourage players to stay in college longer than a year.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky coach John Calipari continues to push for the NBA and NCAA to come to some type of agreement which would encourage players to stay in college for more than a year.

For the last several months, Calipari has publicly promoted some of his ideas on how the NBA and NCAA could entice players to wait longer than a year before turning pro.

In a recent interview with CBS Sports Network, Calipari said that could be NBA commissioner David Stern's legacy - brokering a deal to alter the one-and-done era.
