California Chrome's Connections Passing Pressure To Horse

The 3-5 favorite will come out of gate two on Saturday. Trainer Art Sherman says he's leaving the ride up to jockey Victor Espinoza. Espinoza says it's on Chrome to have a good trip in Belmont.
The Belmont Stakes field is set for Saturday.

California Chrome is the early 3-5 favorite coming out of the two hole in the field of 11 horses.

The last time a horse won the Belmont from the two hole was Tabasco Cat back in 1994.

The last horse to win the Triple Crown coming out of the two hole in the Belmont was Secretariat back in 1973.  In fact, Secretariat and Chrome will break from the same post positions in all three legs of the Triple Crown.  Gate five in the Derby, three in the Preakness and two in the Belmont.

So how do the connections feel about their draw?  ESPN'S Jeannine Edwards caught up with trainer Art Sherman and jockey Victor Espinoza to talk about just that earlier today.

See what they had to say in the video.
