Reports are out that Coach Cal is on the Cleveland Cavaliers shortlist to replace Mike Brown at the helm.

Cal told the Cleveland Plain Dealer during a phone interview he would love to coach former Cav LeBron James.

That coaching the best player in the world would be great, but the timing just isn't right as their careers have split apart.

Still criss-crossing, just not linking up.  LeBron of course was the "Y" back in Cal's first season at Kentucky during the Vandy game at Rupp and has long had a great connection with Cal.

Read the full story on the Plain Dealer website here.

As for what makes Cal such a desirable coach and why LeBron would want to play for him...what's new UK assistant Barry Rohrssen have to say about his new boss' best attribute in the business?

Check out the video for that and more.
