Cal Lighting Fires

Cal Lighting Fires

Nerlens Noel playing well, Poythress still lacking.
The basketball Cats are having a season to forget at this point.

The first loss at home under John Calipari to Baylor came earlier this season.

The first SEC loss at home, 83-71 to Texas A&M on Saturday, made it the second time the Cats had lost at Rupp in the Coach Cal era.

Oh yeah, and just the third time Kentucky's lost by double-digits.  Two of those games, again, coming this season (the other to Notre Dame on the road).

But there are signs of things getting better and Cal is still positive his team is on the right track.

The Aggies just had Elston Turner go for 40, which made the difference in the game.

Something Cal took the blame for by leaving Alex Poythress on Turner too long...a young freshman still needing to exert energy every play.

So how can Cal bring out the fire in guys?  He's talked about it before...if it isn't there, he has to put it there.

But in a mild-mannered forward like Poythress...and in young freshmen, what does it take to play at a program like Kentucky?

And who is the one guy playing with the type of intensity in takes to make it in Lexington?

Check out the video to hear from Cal on lighting some fires in guys to get more out of everyone on every play.
