John Calipari tweeted out some Solid Blue reassurance this morning...saying "Before it starts, I'm totally committed to helping this group of young men reach their dreams. I wouldn't & couldn't leave this group!"

Mike D'Antoni was let go by the Los Angeles Lakers today.

Immediately following the national title loss, Cal had said the Lakers have a coach so there's no job to even be interested in.  But now with D'Antoni gone, the rumor mill is once again swirling.  ESPN is reporting the Lakers will reach out to Cal to "gauge his interest" in the position.  It is important to note Cal is scheduled for hip replacement tomorrow in Lexington.

More good news though for Solid Blue fans that Cal intends to stay?

The worst kept secret in hiring history was made official by UK Athletics today.

Former Pitt assistant Barry Rohrssen will join Cal's staff as the newest assistant...more on Rohrssen here.
