Coach Cal's Cats are still a work in progress.
The main issue right now...players not fully buying into the system.
Calipari has had young teams before. He's had to help them grow and progress, but this time it's taking a bit longer.
The guys aren't fully trusting one another, aren't having enough fun like they did before the season and aren't sticking together quite yet.
But it isn't anything new for Cal. The question though remains: Can it be fixed and how?
Cal says his team crumbled down the stretch and couldn't respond to A&M's final run after the Cats were up by four late in the second.
Today, Cal said, as usual, he still likes his guys. That progress was made but sustained energy is still missing as a team unit.
Something he told his players last night while watching tape of the meltdown in the final moments.
