2014 UK quarterback commit Drew Barker has grown on the national scene.
Today, tweeting he made the Elite 11 QB club.
The senior-to-be out of Hebron, Kentucky showed some flashes of great decision-making in Beaverton, Oregon during Nike's 7-on-7 football camp "The Opening."
Barker threw two touchdowns but a late pick that sealed an 18-12 loss for team Land Sharks yesterday.
Trent Dilfer heads up the camp and Elite 11 and had big praise for Barker's footwork progress as well as ability to read progressions.
The senior-to-be didn't necessarily have sloppy footwork upon arrival in Oregon but Dilfer said he certainly got away with a lot against lesser talent in high school last season.
Barker meanwhile did well with an in-game sideline interview showing he's ready for life under the microscope in the SEC at Kentucky.
