Kentucky junior Twany Beckham becomes eligible to play Saturday after sitting out following his transfer from Mississippi State.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Louisville native and Mississippi State transfer Twany Beckham becomes eligible to play for Kentucky Saturday against Chattanooga.
Beckham, a junior, played in 14 games for the Bulldogs his sophomore season, starting five games.
In high school, Beckham helped lead Ballard to a pair of Sweet 16 appearances.
Beckham says he transferred from Mississippi State because he didn't fit into the offense. He feels his role at UK will be to back up point guard Marquis Teague and focus on defense.
