The Bat Cats now know their fate in the NCAA tournament.

Earlier today, on the selection show on ESPN, Kentucky learned it will take on No. 3 seed, Kansas, Friday at 2 ET on ESPNews.

UK is the two seed in the Louisville regional with the host Cards number one seed and Kent State as the four.

Kentucky has a 13-12 record against teams that made the NCAA field.  That's a 50/50 shot at a win if you pulled it out of a hat...2-0 against UofL in 2014.

Head coach Gary Henderson and company feel really good about their chances to get to Omaha as of late...playing, just like the softball Cats, their best ball right now.

Hear from Henderson in the video.
