Bat Cats Drop In Polls; Friday First Pitch Moved

The Kentucky baseball team dropped in the polls and the game time has been changed for Friday's series opener against Alabama.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Kentucky baseball team has dropped to No. 7 in both the Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball polls while falling to No. 9 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' poll.

Florida handed Kentucky its second consecutive series loss this past weekend. The Bat Cats dropped two of three at Vanderbilt for their first SEC series loss after winning six straight SEC weekends to start the season.

Kentucky has lost five of its last seven and next faces Indiana in Bloomington on Wednesday.

UK welcomes Alabama to Cliff Hagan Stadium for three beginning on Friday. That series opener on Friday has been moved from 6:30 to 7 PM ET to accommodate TV.
