A struggling Kentucky team fell at South Carolina to a bad Gamecocks team.  That was less than a month ago.  Everyone had written off the Cats to make a run in the tourney, except the Cats.

What UK has done in the past few weeks is nothing short of remarkable.

Suddenly, Kentucky is playing up to its potential.

It's finding its groove and looks like the preseason number one team in the land with a talented crop of freshmen, most recently, Marcus Lee, stepping up to fill Willie Cauley-Stein's big shoes.

The last three UK games all coming against Final Four teams from one year ago.  All Kentucky wins.  Wichita State, Louisville and Michigan now sitting at home as the Cats...with NIT leftovers and new guys...head to Dallas.
