The 11th region baseball tournament began out at Western Hills today.

The host Wolverines would try to beat Henry Clay for the first time this season after dropping both regular season affairs.

But today a much different story.  4-0 your final.  Western Hills advances to the region semis tomorrow at 5:30.

That's when the Wolverines will meet up with the number one team in the state in Tates Creek.  The Commodores were all over Berea today in game two of the 11th region tourney.

The Dores jumped out to an early 8-0 lead after the first two innings and the Pirates had 4 errors after two.  Overall, just not a good day for the boys from Berea.

18-2 your final after the mercy rule came into play through five.  So again, it'll be the Creek and Hills in the first semifinal game tomorrow at 5:30.

In game three of the day, Lexington Catholic jumped out to a 1-0 lead over Madison Central in the top of the first.

The Knights' Daniel Little with the single and then doubled home by Riley Jackson.  1-0 Catholic after one.

But the Indians storm back in the 6th...take the 4-2 lead...add some insurance later...and win it 8-2.

Madison Central now awaits the night-cap winner (Franklin Co. vs. Scott Co.) for tomorrow night's second semifinal game.  First pitch of that second semifinal match-up is set for 8 o'clock.
