A FREEZE WARNING is in effect through 9 A.M. Thursday morning for the Bluegrass.

A FROST ADVISORY is in effect through 9 A.M. Thursday morning for south central and southeastern Kentucky.

The skies will continue to clear tonight as temperatures quickly fall. We'll bottom out in the low 30s with light winds by Thursday morning. A freeze is likely for many rural locations of the Bluegrass and some locations may have a hard freeze with the potential for temperatures in the upper 20s.

After a cold morning, high pressure will ensure sunshine on Thursday afternoon as high temperatures recover into the mid 60s. The winds will be light and out of the south at 5 to 10 mph.

Another round of morning showers will be possible on Friday, mainly west of the I-75 corridor. Morning temperatures will be more mild in the mid 40s. We'll peak in the mid 60s by the afternoon under partly cloudy skies.
