Flood Warnings continue for much of SE Kentucky through Thursday.

Update: Strong, gusty winds out of the west are now bringing in much colder air to the region. As we approach midnight, Lexington has already dropped down to 34°. By morning, many areas will be in the mid 20s, so watch for some icy spots on the roads.

As of Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service has confirmed 3 tornado touchdowns in Kentucky. An EF-2 twister touched down in Warren County, an EF-0 touched down in Marion County, and another EF-0 tornado touched down in Pulaski County near Ferguson.

The sever weather threat is now over, but flood warnings have been issued for many parts of southeast Kentucky through early Thursday morning. If you come across a flooded road, remember to Turn Around, Don't Drown.

Temperatures will continue to fall tonight along with the rain. By morning we will be in the mid 20s which could cause some roads to freeze by the morning commute. Be ready for a few slick spots. The rain is also expected to switch over to snow late tonight. Most areas will not see more than a dusting on the ground.

Thursday afternoon will be dry with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 30s. More light snow will be possible late Thursday night into Friday morning.
