Midnight Update: We are the cool place here in Lexington tonight. We've already dropped down to 27° while most areas are holding strong in the low 30s. By morning, it looks like everyone will still drop into the 20s. Outside of a few flurries, the snow has come to an end at this time and skies are beginning to clear from west to east.

Have a great weekend!
_____________________________________________________________

Our wintry mix continues to transition into more of a snow this evening. Some areas could see a short-lived dusting tonight, mainly in eastern Kentucky. By midnight, all snow should come to an end. Temperatures will drop into the low 20s by morning, so watch for a few icy spots on wet roads overnight into Saturday morning.

We will start Saturday dry, but as we head into the afternoon, some scattered light snow showers will be possible. More than a dusting is not expected to accumulate on the ground. Before the snow, a mix of sun and clouds is expected. Temperatures will only make it into the low 30s.

Sunday will be frigid to start as we drop into the teens. Temperatures should manage to rebound into the mid 30s with mostly sunny skies in the afternoon.
